The time has come! Rather quickly I might add, to dig the canned pumpkin out of the cabinet and let the blending begin 🙂
For a great smoothie every time make sure you stock your freezer with your favorite frozen fruits/ veggies, it makes all the difference in the world. ( Favorites include mangos, bananas, spinach, cherries, raspberries, kale + blueberries)
My protein shake can be a success or a failure based on whether or not I have frozen bananas on hand!
Pumpkin Protein Shake
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
1 frozen banana
3/4 cup vanilla unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop Sun Warrior Vanilla Protein Powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Pinch of ground ginger/ nutmeg or both like me 😉
3-5 ice cubes
This protein shake make the perfect post workout snack because it’s packed with protein and quality carbs!
